IS IT GOOD FOR THE EARTH? IS IT GOOD FOR THE COMMUNITY?
These are the questions we ask ourselves with every decision made. We are partnering with SE MN farmers and organizations like Pearson Organics, the Rochester Downtown Farmer’s Market and the Sustainable Farmer’s Association to work towards 80% of our ingredients to be sourced within a 200 mile radius of Rochester.
What we aren’t able to source locally goes through rigorous evaluation. You can rest assured that our coffee is of the highest quality, free of human exploitation, and better than fair trade.
HUNGER RELIEF
We think by working hand-in-hand with farmers, chefs, non-profits, and other local leaders, we can not only make a big impact in the lives of our neighbors, but moreover, we can provide a model of compassionate capitalism that can be replicated across America. When Minnesota can generate almost a billion dollars a day in the food and beverage industry, no one in our state should experience hunger.
With partnerships like FINNEGANS Brew Co., Rochester Family Services, Meals on Wheels, and Community Food Response, our goal is to supply 3000 meals a month to our food-insecure community members and lead the restaurant industry in eradicating hunger in SE Minnesota.
